The IAAPA Expo is always an exciting, high energy, visually stimulating environment; this year was no exception! If you didn't have the chance to visit Orlando last week, you missed what I think is our cutest and most activity-oriented mini village ever.
Introducing our Burning Building, as a accompaniment to our Firehouse, was a definite crowd-pleaser. The tunnel, maze, and slide make the Burning Building the hottest place to be (pun intended!). Add to that the "burning flames" above and we were attracting attention from all the guests.
Shown inside our Firehouse is our hand-on, climb-in Fire Truck, Normally, we place the truck outside the Firehouse, facing the Burning Building, so our young firefighters can successfully aim the fire hose at the flames, but limited space prevented that. However, this certainly didn't stop numerous children from climbing aboard and getting in the action. Bells were ringing and firefighters were rushing to the rescue all week long!
At the other end of our mini village was another newcomer: our Beauty Boutique. Redesigned to include the best of dress-up fun, beauty shop primping, and walking on the lighted runway, this playhouse is guaranteed to be a classic. Women of all ages were oohing and aahing at the fun they could have inside!
Meeting and talking with new potential clients, networking with other vendors, and catching up with old friends and associates always makes for a busy, action-packed week. We're already looking forward to next year!!

What do you get when you add a creative entrepreneur (our client, Jean Pierre) with our adorable play villages? I bet Destin, Florida knows the answer. You get Cubby Caboose Village, A Fun Place To Learn!
Jean Pierre cleverly created mascots to accompany each playhouse. Cubby, the main character, is a polar bear traveling from the North Pole with his five friends: the Fireman (a moose), the Policeman (a St. Bernard), the Chef (a penguin), the Doctor (a white fox), and the Mayor (a walrus). Talk about having fun to your heart's content!!
The looks on the children's faces say it all:
Stay tuned...there may be a Lilliput Play Village coming soon to a mall or hotel or bowling alley near YOU!
